We want your course to combine the best of both worlds: a chance to brush up your English and discover some new teaching methods and materials for your classes, and have a memorable holiday.

We often tailor the course content according to the needs of the participants, but the main aims are:

To explore methodologies for making teaching more interactive
To focus on different ways of promoting effective learning
To demonstrate a range of fun, effective classroom activities
To brush up your idiomatic, natural English
To help you discover new aspects of British culture to enrich your teaching

Description de l'école

Nommé «Meilleur endroit où vivre au Royaume-Uni 2017» par le Sunday Times Magazine, Bristol est une ville attrayante, conviviale et sûre, dotée d'une histoire longue et colorée.

Avec une population de 500 000 habitants, elle est la capitale culturelle et commerciale du Sud-Ouest.
Il abrite une communauté diversifiée d’artistes, de musiciens, de médias, de sociétés financières et de haute technologie.
Bristol a deux excellentes universités, des centaines de pubs et de restaurants modernes et traditionnels, des musées, des cinémas et des espaces verts. Bristol était la capitale verte de l'Europe en 2015.

Bristol est entouré de sites touristiques: Bath, Oxford, Cardiff, Stonehenge et Stratford-Upon-Avon sont tous proches et Londres est à seulement 90 minutes en train.

Les deux centres IH offrent des salles de classe lumineuses et spacieuses, une salle d’étude bien fournie, une connexion Wi-Fi et Internet, ainsi que des jardins privés. L’école est le centre ouvert IELTS et Cambridge Exam Center pour le sud-ouest de l’Angleterre et a dépassé les attentes des organismes de contrôle indépendants. L’École est également un centre de formation d’enseignants qui mène à une amélioration continue.

I really enjoyed my experience in Bristol. Teachers are amazing, the classes are practical and useful to our daily life if we want to live or study abroad. Truly everything was awesome! The location of the school is near the best places in Bristol ( Clifton Suspension Bridge, city center, shops, Bristol docks and great restaurants) and still it managed to be in a quiet street, so you can fully focus on absorbing the new language skills served by very experience and patient teachers. When it comes to the accommodation, it was fantastic! The family, where I stayed, were great at every aspect of daily life. They helped me with everything I needed and gave the most precious gift, homey feeling. Thank you guys.

IH Bristol has year-round residence accommodation for our adult students. We have two student houses within easy walking distance of the school (10-15 minutes) and each room has a private bathroom. Located in the Clifton area of Bristol there is no better location to experience everything that Bristol has to offer for students. You will have the opportunity to be more independent, practise your English with a large number of people, and have a guaranteed private bathroom!

What can I expect?:

Premier location in the Clifton area of Bristol, next to supermarkets, shops, restaurants, bars and gyms. And 10-15 mintues walking distance from Clifton Village and the suspension bridge.
2025 price: £265 per week, plus £62 accommodation placement fee (Additional nights £40)

Single rooms with private bathrooms
3/4 bed (this is larger than a single bed) with additional storage space under the mattress
Bedding, and 2 towels included
